Nissan GT-R NISMO: Special Edition

 

Nissan has introduced the latest iteration of the legendary Nissan GTR. The new Nismo special edition features an all new Stealth Grey exterior with new 20" RAYS forged aluminum alloy wheels and a carbon fiber hood with exposed weave.

The engine is rated at 600 horsepower and 481 lb-ft of torque. The engine utilizes weight balanced components for increased performance and durability and are hand assembled.

"Each engine is hand-assembled from beginning to end in a special clean room by master technicians known as takumi. Just as great artists sign their work, so do the takumi, with a special aluminum takumi certification plate in a Special Edition-exclusive color on the front of each engine." - Nissan

The new GT-R is slated for limited release some time this fall with pricing as of yet unknown. Additionally in Japan there will be a partnership between Mcdonald's and Nissan. Happy meals will include a TOMICA small scale reproductions of the GT-R in both the new new Stealth Grey and a special edition Gold color.
